As many may have noticed, there are dozens of new trees being planted in St. Nicholas Park this week. This is part of a new initiative to plant tree species that are part of the original Samuel Parsons design of the park. Parks workers are also pruning trees and cutting down diseased or partly diseased trees.

Dept of Sanitation needs to step up the game on picking up the trash in the trash bins.
