BECAUSE OF THE TORRENTIAL RAINS EXPECTED TOMORROW, THE CLEANUP DAY WILL NOW TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, MARCH 20TH FROM 9AM-2PM.
The St. Nick’s Dog Run clean up day needs all the volunteers we can get to help spread a huge pile of woodchips (below are pictures), clean up litter and repair the fencing along the Dog Run perimeter. The clean up day takes place from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, March 20th. If you have a pair of work gloves please bring them. We will have some available to those who don’t. Also, we will have bottled water and coffee for everyone.
It is usually better to come to the workday after you walk your dog. Dogs demand attention while in the dog run, and the workday will be more enjoyable if you can leave your dog in the comfort of his home. Of course, we understand if this is not possible and appreciate any help you can lend.

I just want to add, that PEP is on a rampage towards dog owners in St Nicholas Park and Jackie Robinson Park.
There have been 4 documented physical altercations with dog owners and two specific PEP officers.
Their names are Weatherly(male) and Torres(female)
There is an IAB case on February, Friday the 19th.
They are stepping way outside their jurisdiction in harrassing dog oweners.
They have followed people home to their buidlings.
They have shoved and pushed people
They have threatened to spray them with mace
They have had 1 owner arrested.
They have followed a dog owner from one park to the other in their car
I will attend. I am not physically up to much, but I can handle dispensing items and general pep talks etc. I will print this and post to all my other canine lovers. Thanks
This is great news! I am so happy!
