Coffee Bark has Resumed for 2012!

Dear Friends, we will be holding our first Coffee Bark for 2012 on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Coffee, donuts, and other refreshments are provided. We hold the Coffee Bark on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM until the weather gets too cold, usually October to November. Those interested in volunteering at the dog run who would like to join our mailing list should send an e-mail to dogpark@stnicholaspark.org.

Bella is home safe! Found dumped in park. Bella and Family are reunited!

We have good news for the St. Nicholas Park community. The neighborhood’s beloved Rottie Bella has been found dumped in a park in For Washington. We suspect that Bella was stolen in order to breed. Once the kidnapper found the scare from being fixed, they dumped in her a park. We will be getting pictures of these men soon so everyone can be on the look out and watch out.

Thank you for everyone for your offers of help! We are glad Bella is well!

We need to find her ASAP

Hamilton Grange National Memorial Re-Opening This Saturday, September 17th

The long anticipated opening of Hamilton Grange National Memorial is upon
us. This Saturday, September 17 at noon, which is Constitution Day, the
National Park Service will open the Grange to the public. With you we will
celebrate the opening of Hamilton’s ‘sweet project’ this weekend with
music, living history demonstrations, rangers talks and lectures. You can
find the full schedule of events on the attached flyer.

We look forward to welcoming you to the ‘new’ Grange! Below is the schedule for this weekend. Come out and celebrate this historic event!

Colonial Games and Military “Sounds Along The Manor” is an interactive sound installation by art-ist Abigail Simon. Experience sounds from the past with “QR” codes posted at five different locations on the Grange grounds and at the former site on Convent Ave.
