we need have this work done early and have as many folks as we can get…

and we needed TOOLS!

I was at the dog run saturday… I am not sure if anyone else noticed- but we didnot have the tools to do the wood chips I mean where were the wheel barrells?
i do the clean up all the time (only missed one in 2010) and this one was awfully bad,. Not too many people and only one wheel barrell!!!!
was at the last two clean ups and there was a woman there around 8 30 am … who had brought coffee, and was talking with a parks person – I think this was in May? we started nice and early and she had them bring 4 wheel barrells. Plus we had people-
I also saw her at our last weed clean up! and again we had coffee and lots of tools to work with.
I did not see her there this time or the two guys who brought water and also help with the last few clean ups.

My opinion when we have had clean ups ~~~ we have always had them early in the day .like 9 am ..perhaps we need to continue this in the spring on our next clean up.
Also make sure you ask for more wheel barrells. we have never had just one …

The next monthly Coffee Bark happens on Saturday, July 9th from 9am-11am at St. Nick’s Dog Run.
Join us at the Dog Run with coffee and donuts. We need help to keep St. Nick’s one of the best dog runs in New York City.
Socialize with fellow dog owners and discuss issues and ideas on concerning St. Nicholas Park and St. Nick’s Dog Run.
We also need volunteers to help keep the Coffee Bark going – please email us to help out!

Our Coffee Barks take place the first Saturday of every month from 9am-11am at the St. Nick’s Dog Run.

The St. Nick’s Dog Run is located in the middle of St. Nicholas Park between 136th and 137th streets. If you are interested in volunteering for the Coffee Bark, sign up at the next Coffee Bark

We need you to come and help us welcome new owners and keep the relationship up with existing owners.
WE ARE A VOLUNTEER GROUP….
Please remind others that we have this event to please try and come out for a while
